Olly update
We are happy to say Olly is now in a home and doing really well.
He is with a 10year old lurcher boy and is lucky enough to have found a home with a couple who also have a horse so he also has a paddock to run in.
Bob
Bob (aka Houdini) desperately needs a new home - he has been at the Reston centre for such a long time that he is becoming a bit shy, which is a shame because he is a super character. However, he will come out of himself as he builds a relationship with his new owner.
He will make a wonderful pet and friend for someone, especially if you do not do a lot of walking but would enjoy Bob's affectionate company; he would love to just potter by your side. He loves soft toys and throws them for himself and will joyfully settle down to squeezing them in his mouth for ages.
He is a lovely boy but has been overlooked again and again in favour of other greyhounds - he has been a delight to his foster-carer.
When Bob can to us he was a bit of an determined escape artist and unfortunately he caused some damage to his leg in an attempt to open his kennel, which has left him with a slight limp. Although he has the all clear from the vets he is looking for a new career as a couch potato and not a fell walker.
As you can see Bob has a gorgeous smile and a teddy-bear soft coat and is only four, if you can find space in your heart call Sonia on 07967 057759.
Pickles - homed just before Christmas!
The Trust from time to time gets greyhounds in that need just a little bit more TLC than your average Joe. Pickles is one of these.
She is a pretty five year old girl and loves playing with toys and running in the garden. She enjoys the company of other dogs but could also live as an only dog, however she is not for any of you with feline companions. Pickles enjoys her walks and can get very excited when getting ready to go out. She is house trained and loves to curl up at the end of the bed..
When pickles came to the Trust she had an unsightly growth on her right eye, this has been removed but there is a possibility it could return in the future.
Anyone lucky enough to bring Pickles into their lives will not be disappointed. Contact www.rgtperrybarr.co.uk for more information.
